Weeks looked like a game changer last night with Speights being out!

For a freshman, you can tell his knowledge of the game and reading the defense was great! He was flying to the ball and always seemed to be in the right position at the right time (lots of discipline and knowing his assignment), especially when he stood up the RB after Jefferson rolled to the left, then pitched it to the middle instead of outside where the play looked like it was going. This will be interesting to see how the MLB position plays out with him and Speights going forward. I think you gotta have him on the field.

when Speights gets back sit Penn and keep weeks in. Penn is never around the ball and cant cover for sh*t.

He is going to be very good. Shoots gaps well and is always around the ball. Once he gets a little stronger to take on and shed blocks he will be significantly better.

More mobile than a thumper right now. Needs to get stronger. Couldn’t get off the linemen in the power run game last night

Watched every play but dont remember much of him other than him getting torched on two deep throws.

So you only remember and recognize 1 or 2 bad plays instead of the many good plays a player has. Got it

You may want to turn your eyes to the secondary if you want to scrutinize someone for getting torched. Not a LB.

Penn is the best LB on the team right now. He is a can’t miss NFL stud.
