Word is Magee will play at RT. I'm pretty disappointed we aren't gonna see Deculus.

I looked at the participation chart last night, because I can't remember seeing Deculus play at all, but he's listed as playing all 4 games - maybe on special teams?
Maybe I missed it, but he's one player I've been watching for.

You can't call a True Freshman a bust but how is a top 50 OT that's an EE not getting any playing time when the other 2 Freshman OL in the class are splitting reps? I was hoping they were going to have him focus 100% on being a tackle but now a redshirt Freshman that started the season not even on the depth chart has passed him.

Oh, I get that. And Magee has about the right frame - he's built sort of like a tweener - tall, long arms, but thick - his natural position is guard, so this could be interesting. Playing guard is a whole lot about attitude and aggression, plus being in the right place at the right angle.
Being a tackle is like dueling or fencing - you have to anticipate, move your feet, get your hands right and get your opponent where you need him to be. Very different skill sets, especially in pass blocking.

He hasn't played well at all. Wander if he's been hampered. He was good pre injury last year. KJ needs to sit if he plays another game like last week. He looked lost and uninspired. Put a young hungry kid there and see what happens
