Jay said this and I don’t understand why he doesn’t realize he was right.

If Neal doesn’t spend an inning with his head up his arse, we tie it in the 9th.

Milazzo not getting more playing time is my biggest gripe with Jay this year. I’m not sure what Neal has on Jay but there’s absolutely no reason for him to start over Milazzo at this point.

How would we know? The senior veteran barely gets playing time.

We’ve lost lots of games that Milazzo has played in.

Milazzo started against Southern so let’s not get carried away thinking we’d win just because he’s playing. With that said, I don’t think Neal is the answer. He’s 3-30 with 10 K’s in SEC play. He caught someone stealing tonight but he’s been pretty bad defensively otherwise.

I’d be fine with Milazzo catching. Hes at least consistent. Travinski catching and Braswell as DH would somehow be an improvement over Neal in the lineup.

I actually like the idea of Braswel DH if we’d like to keep his bat without overwhelming him on D.

Hold up. According to most here Neal is the second coming of Johnny Bench and Pudge Rodriguez.

EXACTLY! He is by far the best defensive catcher and has a higher batting average than Neal. What else is there to look at????

There are two catchers on this roster that rotated starting the final 40 games of the national championship season. But Brady Neal is the primary catcher now

A big let down to me, other than the overall entire squad batting average of about .232 has been Travinski! He’s from Shreveport and last year he did quite well at bat but it appears he can’t recognize a poor pitch from one right down the middle because he’ll let two strikes go by and then swing at a pitch in the dirt or one neck high! Of course Jones and Bingham do likewise most of the time at bat! The Tigers have got to get the Demon off their backs! At least they didn’t get run ruled!

Very selective of you. Why wouldnt you include the games against weaker competition?
He is 1of his last 6 or 2 of his last 12 with 7ks and 0 walks

Dont forget he lost a ball that cost us the florida game defensively too, there is no magical answer at catcher
