Just let that sink in a bit.

I for sure can say I didn’t think we’d be here right now. And I consider myself a positiger. But still, wouldn’t see this. not when O was hired, not when we lost Troy, not when we had some recruiting misses. Even after getting burrow and Fulton and beating Miami I was hopeful... but now?

WE’RE LEGITIMATE PLAYOFF CONTENDERS NOW BAWS. 4 WINS OVER RANKED TEAMS. WE ANGRY AND WE RIDIN!!

No no no...

WE COMIN.

AND WE FREAKIN AINT BACKING DOWN!!!

that is all. Geaux Tigahs

It’s hard to face the fact that we’re two big SEC wins away from for real doing this.

One of those games just so happens to be against what could be the greatest team of all time. The other is no pushover in a road game against a Jimbo Fisher Aggies team! This is the situation that Les was canned for. He couldn’t get over that hump. Well the hump is here and let’s see if Orgeron can do it!!

I think the biggest thing now is Orgeron has credibility, which is what he needed for recruiting. This will pay dividends with the 2020 class.

One thing, though. Steve Ensminger has done a fantastic job this year at transitioning LSU into the modern age of offense. He should not have to pay for a meal or drink in town for life, and he should always have a spot on this staff. However, I think to take the next step LSU needs to hire a guru who was brought up in this style of offense. Let Coach E hand off the torch and ride off into the sunset.

I agree. E had done serviceable for the offense and has done great for coaching staff and team chemistry. But what O really needs is someone who’s creative and gets along well with O. E can’t be a permanent fix

At this point, I’m not counting this LSU team out of any fight. O seems really comfortable as a coach now, doesn’t have to prove himself anymore, and this team has some confidence. Let’s smash some gumpkins

I’d feel this same way if we were playing last years team. In fact, I’d lock us in at a W. But something about this Bama team man.... just really really gets me unsettled. Hate LSU’s return to relevancy happens when Bama seems to reach untouchable skill level

Agreed!!

We can do this. It’s not too crazy to think we’re in this to win it.

Nobody cares. O lost to Troy and was 5-22 at Ole Miss. Don’t you know how this works? Stop with the positive thoughts. That is not allowed by Chicken and his Rant people that he pays to complain about LSU to drum up traffic on this site.

Biggest game in six years. Whatever else may occur, if our fanbase cannot create a vintage, historically hostile environment, then truly Tiger Stadium has died.

I was in tiger stadium the last time the “greatest team of all time” came here. USC in 1979 with Marcus Allen and Ronnie Lott and Charles white and Anthony Munoz and Jeff Fisher etc... we beat thier butt all over the field only to get beat by the refs with a minute left.

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we had the same result this year. Hopefully the pressure the sec is already taking wouldn’t let that happen
