So 27 guys played in the NFL on that roster? Good god. Not to mention maybe a couple others who made it that weren’t mentiond.

2011 was great. The Tigers were 14-0 during the calendar year 2011 (beat aTm in Cotton Bowl in Jan. 2011); last game in 2011 beat UGA in SECCG.

Who is Thomas Ritter? What game did you watch? Only one that tried to call it a catch was Vern lindquist

Watched every second of it my good man and could have gone either way with simultaneous possession. Not nearly as clear as #7 interception against BAMA with not one but 2 inbounds!! Either way that play was called a replay doesn’t change it!! Just glad it went our way.

Just looking at that 2011 schedule makes me laugh at the Orgeron apologist talking about this years schedule being tough.

And, yet, it all went to shite on 1/9/12.

Without JJ we don't win in Alabama. Once JJ took over, LSU gained more yards per game and scored more points per game than when Lee was the starter.

But continue on with your clueless melodrama.

After Bama it was clear we only had to worry about playing Bama again.

Lee was terrible VS bama.
He always was terrible vs Bama.

Up there with 2001 Miami and 1995 Nebraska.

Definitely the Champs that year and should claim the title.

Put our resume up against Bamas and we had the better season.

Might want to rewatch the SEC championship. LSU did not pick up a single first down until the third quarter. Jefferson was struggling big time and Les had zero intentions of ever pulling Jefferson.

Jefferson was 5/13 for 30 yards passing for the entire game. LSU was losing at halftime. LSU had zero first downs at halftime. This was against a UGA defense that was nowhere near what Bama had. All Bama had to do was stuff the run and they would win. Easy game plan.

Everyone with a brain knew we were doomed with Jefferson at QB in the national championship game.

i was hoping like hell lee would be the starter against i believe middle tenn the following week.......but if i recall, by wed it had been announced JJ won the job back. that first half of that game showed the story the rest of the season.
great D and special teams won the rest of the way, and had saban licking his chops for the rematch

Actually, a look into total offense game logs reveals the highest offensive output of 2011 occurred during the time you mention, the last 3 games of reg season.

Bama and UGA were both top 5 total D.

Jefferson actually completed 65% of passes called 1-912, while Lee has never had a good game vs Bama(7 times as many INTs as TDs), so not sure what you're still crying about.

I don't need to watch it again. I know we beat the shite out of Georgia.

Yeah, that must have been why Alabama was a 2-3 point favorite, clown.

What everyone with a brain did know was that Lee had four year history of throwing interceptions and playing like shite when he faced Alabama. Good guy and adequate QB lot of times, but horrible against Alabama.

The BCS was very flawed, so that result should only be one factor in this case.

no it couldn't have gone any way with simultaneous possession. The receiver would have had to been in possession of the ball, which he never was cause he never completed the catch. This is very frustrating to explain over and over.
