First off, I dk if it's realistic, affordable, legal, or even possible....

But I think it would be awesome if LSU were to breed Mike. Not only would we be able to say we have the most badass mascot in the NCAA; we would be able to say that we actually breed him on our own. And I'm sure it would be HUGE for the LSU vet program.
And maybe we could train him to do this

Train him to do what? Get laid?

I'm of the opinion that we should poach the most ferocious man eating tiger we can find right out of the jungle and just let him run loose on the opposing team's sideline right before the game.

Don't know about breeding but I would be cool with another Tiger for Mike.

The habitat is big enough.

I think Mike coul figure out how to get laid, that crib he lives in has got to be a Tiger panty dropper...

Mike is a hybrid which I think either makes him sterile or ineligible for breeding programs. I forget which it was.

It would be cool for the Mike to be the sire of Mike VII though

I was making a joke about teaching him to dance, a joke.
Serious about the breeding though

I don't know Mike's family tree but if he's a hybrid then its not likely he would ever be allowed to breed.

It's probably too expensive and cheaper to just get another tiger but that would be pretty sweet to have 2nd 3rd 4th etc...generation tigers. It's probably alot harder to breed them than you normal canine as well.

He's not sterile, but being a Bengal/Siberian hybrid pretty much excludes him from breeding for conservation purposes.

I agree. The only downside is that each would require its own habitat. Very expensive

Apparently, having more than one tiger around stresses them out. Tigers are solitary creatures and sharing their turf, even if they get some out of it, isn't good for them.
