We only got 7 hits in a Game 3

The first half of the year this team collected more base hits than anyone. Now it’s all solo home runs. What good is 3 home runs in a game if you only score 5 runs? We aren’t going to beat anyone scoring 5 runs if Paul Skenes isn’t pitching.
Let’s quit worrying about hitting the ball out of the yard and gets some more base hits.

We threw up all over our shoes in the last 8 SEC games. We went 3-5 in that stretch when 4-4 would have won the SEC.
Any game Skenes doesn’t pitch this team needs to score near double digit runs. Our defense isn’t good enough to help the mediocre pitching after Skenes, so our offense needs to be super. The last 3 weeks the offense has not done enough to overcome the free runs we will inevitably give the other teams.

Who cares about how awful our bullpen has looked our how our best hitters are in a massive slump or our head coach is making questionable coaching decisions? We won another SEC series, and that’s what really matters
What this team needs now is positivity from Tigerdroppings posters and no negative posts. All of these glaring problems will fix themselves if we simply stop bitching about them

That's irrelevant, you said quit worrying about hitting home runs, your quote is right there above. There were a lot of home runs in the 90's, sounds like you wouldn't be happy with that. Anyway, our problem is not scoring runs, it's finding someone in the bullpen who can consistently throw strikes.

Going 0/10 with RISP is my biggest red flag in game 3.

LSU won the SEC regular season title in 5 of the 6 seasons that they won a national title (and 6 of the 7 to reach the CWS Finals). The only year they didn’t was 2000, and that was because South Carolina broke the SEC win record that season.
One could see that LSU teams that are good enough to win the national title usually prove it during the SEC season.
