We need a REAL hitting coach

We got a super pitching coach, now we need a hitting coach. These kids have no clue or discipline at the plate. They swing at ball 4 at least 5 times a game. Swinging at curve balls should simply be outlawed, because if you face a pitcher in college who can consistantly throw curve balls for strikes and you don't know how to foul them off then your dead anyway.
We get a good hitting coach who can teach them what NOT to swing at and we will be dangerous,until then they can be outcoached easily.

Outside of Jones the lineup has had a pretty solid approach since early in the season.

37-11, top 10 in all polls, leading the sec west, tied for the regular season sec crown... yeah, all this team can do is pitch

The one real weakness on this team is the lack of left handers,on the mound and at the plate.

I don't understand. It was just one game. The Tigers can still win the series tomorrow. 15-8 in the SEC is better than last year's overall record up to the 23rd game.
We are playing a hungry team at their park. As long as we still maintain 2W/3games the Tigers will be doing as best as you can reasonly expect.
This team is better than last year's team by a mile.

We need REAL fans that understand that in baseball we can't win every game. Ole Miss had to win this game and they played like it. But please continue to make threads after every loss! And remember there has only been 11...

Regardless of how many wins and losses we have, our pitching has carried us all year. Our hitting has been mediocre for the last 3 yrs. So yes we do need a better hitting coach/recruit better hitters. When your a senior and flirting with a 300 batting avg or under thats rediculous! Jacoby Jones has been awful to watch at the plate this yr as well. We have 2 solid hitters and thats it!

Our hitting has really come around in the past few weeks, so if you wanna blame someone, the hitting coach isn't the person. We are 37-11. We have hit more homers in the past few weeks than we have at any stretch in the past two years. These guys have been fantastic hitting in the clutch. If there is a problem, it is the fact that we give up way too many outs on the base paths. To just up an blame the hitting because we lost a game in which our bullpen and starting pitching struggled is outrageous.
Do you think that the coaches aren't preaching, or working on, recognizing and hitting offspeed pitchs? The pitchers were better than our hitters today, and their hitters were better than our pitchers. That happens sometimes. But I don't think you can place poor plate discipline on anyone other than the guys who are holding the bats.
