No it didn't. He would have been safe at 2nd had he not stolen. It was ball 4 correct? It was an unnecessary risk that wasn't worth the reward. The outcome of the play was irrelevant. ...

This was pretty much my point. We gave him an out that he didn't earn, which came at a point when he looked to be slowing down. I am not so much being critical about the base running as I am about the aggressive play calling from the bench. It seems to be killing us. And to clarify, what I was really asking was how come PM never seems to be questioned by reporters about his over aggressive style that is producing tons of out...

Why is no one talking about this? This is the third game in a row that PM has run us out of innings. It didn't hurt him in the past two, but today we lost, and while it certainly wasn't because of his decisions, the Snickeris hit and run call played a major roll in killing any momentum we had.
