Amik Robertson looked like another Tyrann Matheiu in HS. Seems to me, LSU offered but we were late to the table. Anybody remember?

Thought LSU pulled the offer because of numbers?

Happens. Recruiting is a funky game.

A bunch of teams missed out on TM7.

Hope Robertson continues his success.

Robertson is a stud but LSU didnt need him.

We get to see him vs Brennan next year though

This hurts way more than Robertson. Etienne would be our feature back next year.

It wasn't that long ago we got TM and he was awesome! So glad TM signed with LSU.

Anyone here old enough to remember watching Dalton Hilliard? Dud was small but he was the most electric RB I have ever seen.

Anyone remember...

He was short but had big thighs He was a great RB and one of the many fine Hilliards to don the purple and gold.

Yeah I saw that just the other day. To have both Greedy and Amik in the defensive backfield at the same time would be like deja vu Claiborne and Mathieu.

We also missed on Stanley Morgan Jr, Jalen McClesky, Kavonte Turpin, and Travis Etienne over the last couple of years.

I also think Keytaon Thompson is going to improve a great deal with Joe Moorehead at Miss St.

We can thank miles for this miss, etienne didn't fit Miles' mold of a rb and O and company were late to the party and we lost out.

LSU definitely missed on him. He is an absolute playmaker and could play on any team in the country.

Dalton Hilliard and Gary James. They were a great duo that came in together. Florida game at home their freshman year is when Dalton burst onto the national scene

My son's a So. running back for Byrd but played some V at RB and ST this year and dressed for all the Varsity games, after the Byrd Evangel game he came away saying the Safety from Evangel we passed on was the best player he had seen all year including Baskerville, said he was absolutely deadly with the ball in his hands, when I told him LSU had passed on him he said they were going to regret that, he also compared him to TM,....I have a feeling we will be having the same conversation about him in a year or two

bullshite. Dalton Hilliard was very good. He was a solid pro. He was slow as molasses. He could cut better than anyone I’ve seen, but “most electric”? No way. In the last 30 years LSU alone has had five backs more electric than Hilliard.

Are you referring to Ardarius Washington? He is still committed to LSU, but is unsigned. I know he is no one's final 4 list, but has LSU really passed on him?
