But come on, No Team wants a home and home against LSU.

But they'll do home and homes with the likes of USC, Okalhoma, OSU, Texas, Michigan, Miami (when they were top tier)?. That excuse won't hold for the top teams, much less dating back to the early 90's when the OOC scheduling went downhill.

So, what point am I deflecting to avoid or missing altoghther.

I hear your point and agree with it (tough SEC scedule and compensation less of a need for tough OOC foes)..

That I only bring up OOC scheduling for LSU when someone here posts stating that the OOC schedules (as a whole) are good. And also when one posts saying that LSU cannot seem to get decent teams to play them. I do realize LSU and other SEC teams have the toughest in conference schedules by far, as a whole, year in and year out. That discliamer is a very very good one. But when one says that LSU does have decent OOC schedules (as a whole and consistently), that is another issue. Since neither of us are budging----

I already stated that we can't argue that our OOC schedule is soft this year, and our Athletic Dept. uses OOC home games to maximize profits due to our poor states financial problems.

Hell, even our phony-baloney state politicians can't get a pay raise. They asked for their salaries to be tripled and the voters said no way?

We did try to schedule major teams from Texas, but they are afraid we will make recruiting in-roads if they play us in Texas.

Colorado just canceled our scheduled games with them, and we all know that Arizona State is too smart to play us in Baton Rouge.
