The coaches and umpires tried to take it away from us but the Scoreboard posters and the players took it back.

Feels good to be part of a victory like that. We really did the little things well all game.

Was the umping really that bad today? I can recall only one egregious strike called a ball and a terrible playcall from the third base ump that was reversed.

No consistency behind the plate is frustrating

At least he was equally inconsistent for both teams. I think that’s where having a strong message board presence really helps a team.

Umpiring over all in the regional in B. R. seems much better than the shite show the SEC parades out every week.

It took them a good 10 minutes to figure out the OSU outfielder dropped the ball when you can clearly see it on video

I guess if you don’t mind the strike zone randomly moving 4-6 inches in any direction.

I kept thinking they had to be looking at something else it took them so long.

I mentioned that as one of the two memorably bad calls today. (Let's not act like it was obvious in real time.) They wound up getting it right.

I don’t think one can deny this.

I generally agree.
Behind the plate was shitty, but at least I didn’t feel like the scales were tilted in any specific direction

I thought the first base ump did a good job. He caught the Dylan Cruise line drive being dropped. He was right on every close call
