Charger is a trash car.....Dodges are from old Plymouth line that the Pilgrims drove

All players get cost of attendance stipends. Alabama pays OOS about $600.00 per month. These kids can all afford a car note. It's been that way for 3 or 4 years now. Tennessee, Auburn, and Alabama all among the top 5 in the country as far as cost of attendance stipend payouts. LSU is in the bottom half of the SEC.
They were 9th out of the 13 SEC teams that reported. Vanderbilt doesn't have to report.

LSU gave Guice a Mitsubishi Galant

Are you that naieve to think LSU doesn't do things like this as well? Did you ever see the rides that Jamarcus Russel and Laron Landry drove around in while at LSU? All big time football programs do shady things with recruiting, some just do it better than others.

The irony is that Saban was their coach at the time.

No failed drug test at Bama.

Yep, it's his process and he's perfected it.

LSU hasn't competed with bama for awhile now.

Saban can flash 20 national championship rings in the face of recruits but that means a lot to the coaches. The players can get a ring and bask in the sun of the good old days or they can go to a school that is known for putting college players in the NFL and make them millions. If I were a recruit I would lean towards the millions rather than a ring. Alabama has a lot of talent and most of their players won’t play. While LSU has a lot of young players and this gives the new players a chance to show their stuff. If you were a recruit what would you choose . A ring or a chance to play and get an NFL contract.

Whatever bama is doing with these chargers to players must be legal in the ncaa’s eyes. It is literally a joke on here that there players get these cars and new players keep getting them. Its time to start getting our recruits corvettes or something the same legal way that bama is doing it.

If you don’t think losing in the satsuma bowl is better than winning a national championship, then you’re a negatiger

A car note for a charger is like $300 especially since people are doing 72 and 84 month financing. Chargers are nothing. There are plenty of 16 year old blacks with chargers and Camaros all throughout the South.
Louisiana is ranked #1 for the highest car insurance premiums in the country, but Alabama is ranked 30th and only Tennessee has cheaper premiums out of the Southern States.
I don't know if you have been on a college campus recently, but even all the non-revenue ahtletes are driving similar cars because they all get the same cost of attendance stipends. Even women sports get the same money.
They are all still eligible for thousands in Pell Grants as well.
LSU just doesn't pay as well as Alabama, Auburn or Tennessee. They are towards the bottom of the SEC in payouts. It's not a huge difference, but it's the difference between a Charger or Challenger. That matters to some kids.

Dude they aren't buying them, they are leasing them. As an university employee and football players on scholly can drive university leased vehicles just like LSU players do. I have seen them with my own eyes, and also they get c-lot parking passes

I know one LSU player that got not one but THREE Camaros.
