We are getting into the part of the season where BK should start lying about injuries

"Oh you're a 10-2 non-conference champion contender SEC team? That's cute, I saw your starting all-SEC QB got hurt for the rest of the season, frick you we're leaving you out of the playoffs". Or: "Oh you're 10-3 and are fighting for the 12th spot? But I just saw your two best receivers and best edge rusher may be out for December? Haha, sorry buddy, you're OUT."
Don't make the same mistake that FSU made about telling the truth about Jordan Travis. If they had just lied and said Jordan Travis would be back by late December they'd have gotten a shot at the playoff. (Yes, I realize his leg snapped in half on live TV so it was hard to cover up but you know what I mean, could've made some bullshite up about it being a dislocation or something).
Don't make the same mistake that FSU made about telling the truth about Jordan Travis. It was obvious Travis snapped his leg. It was gruesome. No way to lie about that.
Having said that I don’t disagree about non obvious injuries. Hilton has been day to day for weeks so should be able to be done

Bro, if Nuss has a season ending injury, chances are our season is done regardless. We don't have a cupcake schedule like FSU did last year.

First of all if you are 10-3 the only way you’re getting into the playoff is if you win the conference and get an automatic bid. So the committee can’t leave you out. A 10-3 SECCG loser is out. You may not like that, but it’s true.
Otherwise, I think SEC teams like LSU will get the benefit of the doubt as opposed to teams like Florida state.

I don’t know why you think that’s set in stone.
4-5 SEC teams will make the playoff. I don’t see how you leave out the 2nd best team, especially depending on the final score of SEC CG

With the size of the conference, and no divisions, I would not be so convinced that the older of the SECCG is “2nd best”
