We are a very young team.

I get that.

But how does an LSU program get in the position to start this young of a team?

Sorry if it’s a stupid question.

It’s not a dumb question, but it doesn’t have a simple answer. It’s a combination of uneven recruiting, evaluation misses on older players, and injuries.

That’s what I don’t understand. How?? I know Beck is hurt but good lawd. Thankfully we may have a real coaching staff take over

It’s a great question and it’s the reason Paul is on his way out.

The roster is horribly constructed. It’s a mix of horrible roster management in general and just flat out missing on some guys on the recruiting trail

No matter the sport or the year the “young team” excuse gets old.

Every year in every sport this is what gets said when we underachieve.

The talent is undeniable and we have a bright future with good coaching.

But it’s an awful lot of pressure to put on so many true freshmen.
