LSU is favored to win the whole thing at +100, Arkansas is +300. But for tonights game, LSU is +102 and Arkansas is -130. So yes they are favored tonight but LSU still favored to win the whole thing.

The extra game they played was neutralized by two things: the complete game they got from Wood and the rain delay that burned Eyanson and Evans.

Arkansas has burned Root and Wood. Gaeckle threw 90 on Saturday, DVH should hold him so that he’s fresh for Thursday, but DVH. Jimenez threw 41 yesterday, so he’s out for today.

LSU has burned Anderson, Eyanson and Evans. But Arkansas has several guys left who have mid 4 ERAs and have pitched a lot of innings. I’d favor Arkansas Wednesday, because it is a bullpen game. I’d favor LSU Thursday because Anderson or Eyanson will get the start against probably Gaeckle. But the bats will have something to say about it, too.

I’ve just got a weird feeling that the pigs are going to pull out their first championship this year.

But my “feelings” have been really inaccurate lately so that might be good news for the Tigers!

well what do you know, they are the slight favorite tonight. Another case of a -130 vs -105 but favored nonetheless.

I’ll give you the credit after getting downvoted to hell but that was the same case Saturday and we know how that turned out
