I mean, LSU has used three pitchers tonight - in a SOFTBALL game.

Well we have six or seven newcomers next year so there will be many changes I guess

I'll be shocked if they can come back from this. The bats just aren't there for base hits and Carly is just tired as frick and can't hold it down.

Defense fricked up tonight with the errors and the pitching wasn't good enough to offset that.

Yeah making the semifinals with 2 sophomores and a freshman pitching, we'll be back next season. I just don't know how much you can actuaally work on fielding at this level. you can either field or you can't

Jesus, blue.

Also I'm not one to normally complain about commentary, but this has been a joke tonight. They are absolutely shitting on everything LSU and sucking that OU dick.

Well, I'm going to bed. If LSU wins, I will be ecstatic when I leave for work. Night all.

the issue here was the early miscues

walks aren't helping... but the early errors just put LSU behind the 8-ball so early

Carly has been all over. Allie needs to be in. A long time ago. We pitched so well earlier. Not even close to the same performance. Im not asking for strikeouts. I'm asking for strikes. Not walks.

Outside of blue blood shcools, commentators just like whoever's winning more and will strike up controversy if it can be spun up regarless of the validity of the facts.

I mean, defensively we will definitely be better next season. I don't think you'll see some of the type of miscues we had this year next season as much.

and just missed high

Serrett flies out to 1st 3 outs
Going to top 7th ou leads 7-3

This is true, but our bats were awful in the early 2000s. We would always get shutdown in the WCWS. I remember multiple games against UCLA and Arizona, when they were still the kings, and they would flat out destroy us. Now, we have the bats and just need one of the three we have to emerge to be that one. LSU is closer to winning a national title in softball now than any other time ever. OU has got to be the favorite to win it....Jesus, they have not lost since April 2.

Thornhill and surrett are no threat to hit the ball out of the park or put it into play!!is there no one else to bat for them?

OU just seems to be on a whole other level compared to everyone else. If you were to ask me who would win it all before the tourney started I'm pretty sure everyone would pick OU
