She studies pitchers mechanics and how they spin the ball and helps relay it to hitters.

That's an interesting point. Is this done on a game-to-game basis?
I've just watched other games during the season where I felt like Beth does not jive with the opposing coaches. Plus the announcer who played for her flat out said she is a pro at reading pitches
