I can't believe people on here are still taking up for him after what happened. What will it take for some to see that he is a great recruiter, but a TERRIBLE coach??

Meh, hate is a little strong for me. I think he's a good man, I just question his coaching ability

A very talented team bailed Les out more times than just that one. Now, with a 107th ranked offense, the numerous game management mistakes are clearly visible. This most recent Keystone Cops episode was just flat embarrassing.

Shoddy, shoddy reporting of the "facts". You now join your cross town rivals at Channel 9 with the whole "LSU to the Rose Bowl" story.

I disagree.

Screw the las few seconds. What the hell is he trying an onside kick for so early in the game? Yeah, it was a great attempt, and had PP caught it inbounds it would have been amazing. it gave Ole Piss the ball and great field position. Also, why run the same damn play on the 2pt conversion? The guy gave us a gift with pass interference and we come back out and throw at him again, he won't make the same misstake again, and he didn't. From a yard and a half away from the goalline? Qb sneak? Ridley? Dickson? Tolliver around the end?

I agree with the media and everyone on this board that believes this man is an idiot and has just been lucky. He threw JJ under the bus. I think he's a liar. No more scapegoats. No refs to blame, no Lee to blame.

Sorry, but that was right call at that time. If anyone messed up, it was Flynn for wasting a LOT of time from sideline to snap.

miles is fortunate that everyone seems to be focusing on the last second of the game itself
Agreed. Much more important were the 2 plays called after the Lafell catch that had us in fg range already and the running 15 seconds off the clock before calling timeout. Jeez! I could have done it better than they did.

Just as easy as it is to say that the onside kick was stupid. Hindsight works both ways.

Miles deserves to be called out. He made the call to spike the ball and has been lying about it. He has no integrity.

Hats off to Mike Cauble and WBRZ Sports 2 , man call it the way it is, no need to sugar coat it because a lot of recruits will see this and wonder do I want to play for a coach like this. This loss is the talk around the entire nation and is an embarassment to the state, Louisiana people and to our program

Feel free to elaborate. I commented only on the specific call for that pass. It was the right call then. Period.

LSU Beat Street, yea I'm up here in the Big Sky country of Montana and I listed online. Jody didnt sugarcoat it, said he's in a tough position because he is employed by LSU and has to try to put a positive spin on things but hats off to him , he said he has to call it the way it is and that it was inexcusable and he did not disagree with a single caller who called in and spoke about the debeacle or "malaise in MISSISSIPPI.
