I actually think it is good. Tough competition will only make them better going into the NCAA.

By this logic, which is ridiculous, would not every team (except for South Carolina) be in the same category?

You have it scoped out right. I hope we win the tournament but if the Aubies cap their season by taking two of three from us and we go home and get some rest, that can’t hurt.

The SECT is essentially meaningless for us at this point.

It can be done. 1986 or 87 UK beat LSU in BR, Lex, the SEC tournament. LSU took them down during the big dance. It can be done!

Auburn is not a good shooting team but both games against LSU they couldn’t miss. I doubt it happens a third time .

Not that big of a deal if LSU loses early. Not much difference between a 2 and a 3 in the NCAA tournament, and they’re certainly not falling below a 4. And probably not getting to a 1 even if they win the SEC tournament. With Williams being hurt and not much depth, an early exit wouldn’t be terrible. They’re still gonna host.

It is good for us to play a physical team like them. They really go after us, hopefully we will be better prepared for it this time. We definitely won’t get a 2 seed if we lose to them

Exactly. Some folks don’t realize how most things are set in stone among the top seeds at this point.

“Ohmergod! Let’s win the SEC tournament and we’ll get a one seed!” Ain’t happening and Kim knows that.
