HVL shut down everyone she defended tonight. She passed the ball well, too. Her free throws on point and she swished it.

She seems to be knocking down more and more open threes, makes it tough to double down on Angel and Morrow.

I would almost rather them play loose and not care about the SEC tournament. A 2 vs 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament won’t make any real difference. I think given our lack of depth the rest would be better than a deep run in the SEC tournament.

Williams has definitely hit the freshman wall. But if they get her and HVL both hot from three, look out.

Yeah I think Williams has heavy legs from high useage. She’s not getting the lift for her shot right now. And she looks to be second guessing herself at times. She passed on a 3 inch the 3rd quarter

Once the SEC Tournament is over, we’ll have close to two weeks until our next game. I think the entire team will come out fresh with a little rest.
