The defense in the second half may have been their best effort since conference play started.

Defense held Alabama to making FOUR field goals the entire send half (16% from the field)

If they can continue to build on that they can accomplish a lot still. ADR giving LSU really good minutes yesterday is a good sign.

They do have to get HVL's shot going eventually though come tournament time. But it seems like they had her much more off the ball this past game than previously.

While it is always great to beat a rival like bama, my favorite part of the game was during the 3rd quarter when we came out hot. We shut that bama mouth!

They did and when this happened we had a hard time finding passes to the post, the offense seemed incredibly disjointed, and most people including the off ball HVL just stood around.

In the 2nd half they let HVL have the ball more and the offense got going......now who knows if that was a product of HVL at the point or of Kim chewing their arse at halftime? However, in this game the team looked better with HVL at the point to me.

ETA Yes I agree my last statement hasn't always been the case this season. Hell it hasn't even been the majority of the time.

Indeed it was solid...got to finish at the basket but she definitely wasn't the only one that struggled...Morrow and Reese were rough at the rim at times too.

Every road victory is a plus because we know how tough it is to play in the SEC. Also, it now seems that every opponent LSU plays is selling out their gym. We are the entertainment!

Bama's gym holds 14K plus. They had 5K plus in attendance. Unfortunately for Bama WBB that is their largest crowd ever since Bama has never had a topnotch WBB program.

It is undeniable that LSUWBB is helping WBB in the SEC. People are lined up for a long wait to get Angel, et al, to sign autographs after a game.

Van Lith is not the scorer we expected.
