Hopefully there are a few that follow WBB closely enough to know our prospects for next season.

Any news if assistants are following?
How many roster spots are open for transfers?

Most of them have Louisiana or SEC ties so I think most are coming

I think only 2 spots right now. Nikki Brough in 6 freshmen which kinda carved away a bit of room but I anticipate some kids leave

thanks for that info. Seems important to pull quality coaches as well. I am sure Baylor is trying to keep them.

I think you have to assume all 14 scholarships are available, if needed.

People like Mulkey don't frick around. She will likely watch some film, have interviews with the players, and start getting rid of people.

Saw on Wiki that one of her assts is her daughter. Kinda assume she follows. Also curious if LSU has nepotism laws or if she is exempt.

Pretty sure that Jennifer Roberts (operations), who followed her from LA Tech to Baylor and been with her the whole time, and Johnny Derrick (operations) are coming back home with her.

It looked like assistant coach Kaylin Rice, Daphne Mitchell (recruiting) and Jordin Westbrook (operations) also followed her.

And of course, Mak is coming.

From the pics and twitter posts this morning, it looks like almost all (if not all) of her basketball ops staff is in BR with her right now. I didn't see any of the assistants, although I am not sure if any of them are in the running for promotion at Baylor or what? Should know more this evening at the intro presser.

All roster spots are open and with the transfer portal she will have an all star team with a quickness.

I hope they let her bring Makenzie. With her pedigree, she could end up being a great head coach one day. 4 yrs of basketball and 1 year of softball at Baylor, and already 6 additional yrs under Kim.

She will prob be director of operations, not an actual assistant coach

Kaylin Rice (#3 assistant) came with her. Looks like Brock and Messer stayed behind.

Daughter has one young child and is pregnant with another so she may not necessarily be interested in uprooting and starting over.

If any openings would be nice to add a former Tiger like Tameka Jiohnson or even Siemone if she is ready to retire from the WNBA and enter coaching. Another to watch is Fellow Tangipahoa native Kayla Ard who is head coach at Utah State but might want to come home and learn from Km.

Jennifer Roberts has been Kim's longtime COBO and came with her. Jennifer followed Kim to Baylor from LA Tech.

Orgeron already has 2 of his sons on staff at LSU.

But also, Act 9 of the 2020 regular session was signed into law last year, which provides an exception for an immediate family member of a coach to be employed by the program. The bill was run actually to help Skip Holtz at La. Tech out.
