I would have put ADR, Bartlett, Velez, Kent, and Besselman on the court for the entire fourth quarter, told them to play like the score was 0-0, and coached them hard. Would have been good experience for them.

already had and made a post about it before I read this. Which is more to my point, they should have been in the game more and if Angelica Valez rolls her ankle that's a heck of a lot better than Angel Reese rolling her ankle. Our girls were falling to the floor all game long. It was easily predictable what was about to happen.

Dude you’re willing to live and die on this one hill with your hoops knowledge. Cool. I’m riding with the title winning coach and my basketball background. If you feel like you got the stuff- awesome. Go leave your mark. Show the world.

Our girls played without awareness of the situation as well. Even after Angel was injured our starters kept driving to the goal looking for contact while up 30+ points. It's okay to settle for a jump shot and protect your body when you are up 36 points with 5 minutes left in the game.

Angel got into a personal battle with the girl guarding her in the 4Q. Angel was playing like the score was 72-71. Just one or two possessions earier Angel took the ball hard at her defender to get 2 points. Once wasn't good enough, she did it a second time and rolled her ankle.

I don’t want LSU playing SC.

You sound scared.

Funny. Me being scared has no bearing on any game.

It’s just strategy. SC would definitely try to injure LSU players for the big dance.

Meaningless game to beat or lose to SC.

A Pyrrhic victory is pointless. Being healthy is more important.

You’re all over what it takes to win it all and don’t even realize it. What you consider a liability is actually indispensable. Some teams, some seasons can play it safe and be the last team standing. Some years you don’t get that advantage. That year is this year.

I love Mulkey, but all the “how many championships do you have?!” screamers in here are hilarious. Like Ed Orgeron was beyond criticism after he won one

No they wouldn’t.

Or if that’s your line of thinking, why don’t we just take out some SC girls of our own?

I don’t even consider the opinion of someone who compares the two. Come on. You’re better than that.

They’re not in the same stratosphere.

But who am I to question Ed Oregon who has more coaching experience in his little finger than I do? Who am I to question a national champion winning D1 football coach? See how dumb that sounds?

No. Not really. I believe you’re out thinking yourself.

I believe you keep defending an indefensible move. Having the SEC POY injured with 7 minutes left and a 38 point lead wasn’t a good move.

So Ed Orgeron was beyond criticism from any of us Tigerdroppings armchair analysts during the 2020 and 2021 seasons, huh? That’s certainly a take

Wait 'til tomorrow. Ole Miss is the most physical team on D in the league. I am assuming OM will beat Florida tonight.

So we should root for Florida? Not that it matters to the outcome.

Where's the clown that was saying this would be Auburn's superbowl?

Actually its not, but they are good defensively. Auburn is more physically draining and dirty, Ole Miss isn't like that, same with SC.
