I get your mancrush on Miles
Like Miles or not, he is the most successful HC the program has had in 120 yrs. of football. He has had that success during a time when the SEC has ruled college football. He owns almost every best it's possible to own at LSU in wins, winning %, OOC wins, West titles, SEC titles, NCG appearances, 10 win seasons, ranking in the polls, and on and on.
How is that not "mancrush" worthy??? Yes, I know he makes mistakes and no coach is above being called out, but come on...if we cant love the last 9 yrs of LSU football Miles has given LSU we have totally lost touch with college/SEC football reality. imo

The miles blamers will blame themselves for not blaming enough but promise to blame harder the next time they get a chance to blame !
Posted on 10/1/14 at 2:22 pm to RedTigerRulz
Any blame will come from the same chickensh!t playcalling that's handcuffed us thru most of this season already. So yeah if we get smashed or lose the blame train can possibly happen and with good reason.

Don't spend too much time on the Rant?

I blame Miles for being in a situation where we have to play Harris as a true Freshman. Where would we have been the last 2 years if Mett had not screwed up and gotten himself kicked off the Georgia team? Thank heavens for Cam Cameron and his recruiting Harris.

This team isn't winning a NC this year, you people need to get off that stupid shite, constantly saying every team, each year is going to win it all. Typical of 20 somethings, no self awareness and perspective. Not only are the odds very unlikely, it sets you up for failure when we don't. We have a lot of new pieces, and while talented, we are not set up for a championship run this year.
How is that Alabama is on a championship run ever year?
What's the difference?

Lonnie:
No rational fan has ever disputed Miles record at LSU. And you're right, all coaches make mistakes.
But I would make this assertion. When the coach at Furman bungles clock management, or a coach at Idaho refuses to change up his offensive philosophy, or a coach at VMI burns timeouts because they cant get the play in, or a coach at Harvard inexplicably benches a running back that's hot, or a coach at Weber State starts one player over another, there's not as much at stake in the big picture. Their mistakes don't have National championship implications, so in that regard, he is being held to a higher standard. It may not be fair, but it is what it is.
Miles is under a microscope at LSU by virtue of coaching in the toughest, most competitive conference in the country. The spotlight is hot. He gets paid a lot of money to put competitive teams on the field...which most of the time he does. It just seems that he has a penchant (at times) to make bone-headed decisions that invariably change the course of the game, and usually not in our favor. Some fans hone in on these mistakes and harp on them as if they're indicative of his whole career's achievements, which they're not. But god dam, ya gotta admit his timing is fricked sometimes and those gaffes stick out in a glaring way.
I have enjoyed our run over the last 9 years. Have we won some games we shouldn't have?....dam right! Have we lost some games we shouldn't have?....dam right! Should we have at least one more NC in the trophy case? Dam right!
If this way of thinking makes me a bad fan, then so be it.

They're better. What's your point? There have been two brief periods in the history of LSU football when you couldn't say that some program was better. Again, what's your point?

You made up an imaginary Moos St friend to post this?
Tell me, why would a Moos St "friend" know that much about negatigers, or even care what they think in relation to a teams performance, that he doesn't support?

Hah. you must not know LSU fans, in total, that well.
my biggest concern in this game is our line blocking allowing auburn's D to tee off on Harris like they allowed MSU to tee off on AJ. we could end up with 2 qb's without any confidence.
I think we'll be ok tho

He follows Lsu as well as Moo State nimrod. It's really not that hard to imagine. He can have an opinion on this game whether u like it or not.
And for the record, I added the shite about the negas. Now kindly GFY.

Whoaaaa!
We have enough talent to beat everyone on our schedule. We just to get better and get the pieces in place. Don't have to do it all Sat, just enough to beat Auburn.
That's why this game is so important - it would be really difficult to get back to ATL with 2 in-division losses.
