neither was Auburn after we push their shite in last year....

Not saying we are, but it still in within the realm of possibilities.

I will not blame Les either if Harris doesn't do well in this start. When the previous situation wasn't working well, he is trying something else. I think BH will do fairly well, but hiccups are to be expected at times.

I think the only blame I see is Miles not playing Harris earlier in Miss St game, therefore, costing us a chance at beating Miss St. I don't understand paying someone 4.3 million a year to not be able to put the best players on the field until the fans have to boo for the change. Give me a break, how could these coaches not have seen in spring practice, summer practice, etc that Harris has more talent then Jennings.

Echo the give me a break. Obviously, none of the millionaire coaches are as smart as Alumni80.
Care to share your conspiracy theory or are u sticking with the idiot premise.

I will choose scenario #1 in the above, what if.

Not even from a talent standpoint, the starter, Jennings, was not playing well at all vs Miss St. You claim to have a 2 QB system in place. If QB #1 isn't getting the job done, you pull him and see what QB #2 can do. You don't wait until the game is completely out of hand and then use the other guy in garbage time.

{1.) Win or lose we aren't winning an NC this year or going on any type of title run. That should be obvious, but apparently it isn't to some}

Yep, and it's all over for the Isrealites; they're trapped between the Egyptian Army and the Red Sea.

Also the Nazi's are going to overrun Europe, there's nothing anybody can do about it.

Honestly win lose or draw. We need to let this be a learning season for Harris.

I think he clearly has the work ethic, and the natural abilities to play the position.

If we lose, we have to take our lumps. If we win we can enjoy the beginning of something good.

However he is a true freshmen and out defense isn't amazing. And the West as as good as it has ever been.

Anything thinking Miles put Harris in due to the booing is either college football mentally challenged or a troll. imo

do the negatigers and people bitching about fans leaving early align?

If so I don't know where I fit in anymore.

That being said, win lose or draw I can't see anyone being negative after the game unless the play calling is terrible, or we start harris then put jennings in the 2nd drive for an extended period of time.

The knife cuts both ways. Miles is always going to be loved and hated by the fan base regardless of what he does. How bad would the backlash have been had the fake punt not worked against Wisconsin?

I understand losses are a fact of the game. I am ok losing if I perceive our coaches are doing everything possible to get a victory: trying different formations, play calling, rotating in different players, making gutsy play calls, etc. I am NOT ok watching LSU lose trying the same old shite over, and over, and over again.

The fact of the matter is this team is young and needs an identity. We may lose this weekend or we may win. Either way, some segment of the fanbase is going to crucify Miles.

I will not blame miles for starting Harris one bit. I respect what Jennings has done for the team and will always cheer for him. However Harris is more talented and should be our qb moving forward. This game isn't as important as how we show improvement over the rest if the year. We need to be clicking at the end of the year offensively to make a real run over the next two years. We don't have the depth on the dline to be able to make it through this year. I really like the talent we have amassed at the skill positions. Let them get on the field now and learn how to win.

Let's concentrate on winning the division and conference before even worrying about a national title run.

I wouldn't think so either.

There will be people complaining about everything anyway.

There will also be people on the other side of the fence if Harris doesn't play well say

"you see all you tards who wanted Miles to bench Jennings, this is what you get because just maybe Miles knows way more than you rabble rabble rabble"

So it goes both ways.

I don't think miles is making a mistake by playing Harris.

I think not only do you have put your best players on the field, you should put your best players on the field in the best "offense" that is going to generate the most number of points and be successful. Put your best talent in the best system to be successful.

If that's the I-formation, run it, shotgun (variations of pro/spread) run that. Just please play to these kids' strengths.

And then hope your defense can slow AU down enough.

LSU has the horses to run AU out of the stadium. It can be done.

Surely you understand those two scenarios were much easier to overcome than winning the SEC and NC???

to OP, W's a W, L is a L in rankings. LSU winning by 20 isn't going to make any voter believe the MSU game beat down was an apparition, especially regarding LSU's run D. The team has too many suspect areas right now for the high performers to offset, and playing Harris is an upward move towards greater success, W or L.
