Agree 100%. Simmons shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence with LSU.

So LSU should clear his records from the books? Simply because he had a horrible head coach, who blew his chance at success with the best team he had?

simmons was a dog. A cancer to the team. He will NEVER, EVER be an NBA Great. He will be a very, very good NBA player but it takes heart and emotion to be an NBA Great.

Even the greatest coaches can't teach "want to" and desire. simmons has neither.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeet. He will be a perennial all-star starter and MVP candidate. He just didn't want to be in college.

Simmons gave his all at the beginning of the season. When he saw his head coach was a complete moron and LSU wasn't going anywhere he turned his attention to his NBA future. The rest of that team, and the coach, packed it in as well. Why blame just one person? Especially the one who had the best statistical season on the team by far?

And you dont know jack shite if you think Simmons will not be an NBA star.

There are 10 all-star starters every year and a handful of MVP candidates every year. Neither makes you an NBA great.

Is that really your argument for saying he won't be great in the NBA? Wow.
