Watching LSU vs BAMA espn 2019

Got it on now.
LSU had a different energy on both sides. Played there hearts out. Had fun and stayed loose.
Total Team effort all season.

Watched it last week. What a game
One thing that stood out to me that I hadn't really thought about in the excitement of the game was that as dominant as we were in the first half, Bama nearly matched it in the second half.
1st half: 33-13 LSU
2nd half: 28-13 Alabama
Bama got their ground game going and got a few defensive stops in the second half but the Tigers made plays and got scores at the most critical times to seal it.
Every time I watch it again though, I can't help but wish LSU would have come back out on that first drive of the second half and score a TD to make it 40-13 and absolutely break their will.

We would have made it 40-13 had someone picked up the blitzing DB who caused the fumble.

Heck of a team. Probably the best I've ever seen in 40 years of watching the game.

I guess the better question is why couldn’t LSU reload enough to be at least decent? No one expected another championship but my god shouldn’t the new players, who were all big time recruits, be good enough to beat State and Missouri??
We hoped we could reload like Bama and Clemson and assumed we could at least be decent but we were wrong.
