I'm not sure I want to say we missed an opportunity in hiring Dan Mullen seeing as O has a national championship and Joe just posted the greatest season ever by a college QB.
But damn Mullen sure can develop QBs can't he? Seems to just shite out QBs everywhere he goes.

UF has a very good offense, but the SEC is awful at defense this year. Historically bad. There is only one SEC defense in the top 20 scoring defenses and that is Kentucky at #17 (and they gave up 35 to Vandy today).

It's Dan Mullen. Same shite me and others have been saying for years. It was only a matter of time before his QBs started lighting it up at UF. Look at Franks for example. People thought he was a lost cause, but in just 16 games with Mullen he had over 3100 yards 29 TD 9 int with another 400+ on the ground and 8 TD. Transfers, starting at Arkansas with a new coach, offense, and everything, and looks like a legit NFL prospect. Trask is on some Joe Burrow level shite too, although I do believe the amount of offense he's putting up has a lot to do with the shortened offseason for defenses as well.
Next year defenses will adjust to these crazy offenses. They will still put up really good numbers, just not weekly insane scores.

Compare Ed O at Ole Miss and Mullen at Miss St, the compare Ed O at LSU and Mullen at UF. IF Mullen somehow beats Bama, I think they win the national championship. They finally got over the UGA hump.

Covid has screwed up all defenses. Alabama gave up a ton of points to Ole Miss.

Dude Mullen at LSU would be like a cheat code. I’m thankful and like CEO, but if Les fricking Miles can win a natty at LSU, what he’s doing at Kansas has convinced me anyone can.
