State was one of best power run teams in the country in 2017. Had all those guy back in 2018 and Moorhead changed the offense to make Fitz an RPO QB.
Arnett is doing the reverse Moorhead. Tell one of the most accurate Air Raid QBs ever we're going to hand it off 80% of the time

We beat Miss State on the road and this team could potentially find the momentum and identity it needs.

they scored 3 point vs UGA. at some point you’re gonna hit a wall.

Fitzgerald could not keep a defense honest with his passing. When they did run into a wall, like UGA, they had nowhere to go.
They needed to develop his passing game, but he was never going to get there. It's why 2018's excellent defense was wasted.

So far nothing about this defense has been impressive or shown us they have capability to shut down an offense. Well except for Grambling after being gashed initially. It’s possible House coaches them up and they figure out what to do this week but if not it will be a shootout like the FSU game.

State coach already telling people he ran too much Saturday night. Expect more passing, especially after the way our pass defense has played.

House dumbed down the defense quite a bit against Grambling and they still got exposed on plain assignment football throughout the 1st half. If I’m Miss St I’m going in guns blazing with power concepts, play action, and deep balls. Get the front seven off balanced focusing on the run and then attack the secondary. Miss St will come out the 1st Quarter verifying tendencies and personnel by probing the front seven and then set the secondary up for the second half.
We better come out swinging on offense or it could be a long night.
