Without the students there is no school/football program so again if you can’t tolerate your kids hearing a few bad words and mommy and daddy drinking themselves belligerent then maybe they should not be attending the game on a COLLEGE CAMPUS.

It's dumb I agree. It's yelled by a combination of the young, drunk, or trashy.
But kids are going to hear all kinds of profanity at games. It's your job to explain to them that only dumb people yell that stuff.

I for one am tired of the whole "family friendly" environment arguement. This is what is wrong with Death Valley. Its not intended to be family friendly. Its supposed to be a hostile environment where opponents dreams come to die. It's a college campus where a college team filled with college athletes are playing a brutal game. Do you cover your kids eyes before you bring them into the stadium because the big bad grown ups are drinking alcohol. It's the student's stadium supporting their college team. Dont like the immature actions of college students then dont go where they will be, their campus and their stadium.

It's thousands of people chanting it in unison in a ritual fashion. Name one other instance that that takes place on campus. Even if it does, you just avoid going there. This is at the game. No way to avoid it without skipping the game.

I don't really buy into the whole children at the game argument. I have young children, so I get the concern, but I am fully aware that they are going to hear some vulgarities if I take them to a game.
I just wish our fanbase wasn't so trashy. I saw several trashy individuals sitting around me who appeared to be at the game for the sole purpose of chanting STTDB as many times as they could. These were 35-40 year old men. It was pathetic to watch.

I think it happened twice, maybe 3 times Saturday. It's one of those things that should be easy to parent around, despite its stupidity.
My comment about not bringing your kids at all is directed at the people that apparently can't figure out how to address it. It's not some nonstop thing that they're going to hear all game.

The students would chant it to another song played by the band. It probably happened 8-10 times throughout the game. Each time, trashy "adult" fans would chant along with the 18-22 year old drunk college kids.

You and everyone else who thinks the chant is embarrassing should probably stay home when we play bama. Y'all might get your little sensitive feelings hurt. This is a college football game, not Sunday mass. Get over it Nancy. I actually had several UGA fans sitting by me that laughed and thought it was bad arse.
