its an explanation of how they ended up at this standoff. Wade acknowledged it as well in his statement too

That admission was probably a condition of Wade's return to allow that spineless cuck, Alleva, and the rest of this chicken-shite, dip- shite administration save what little face they have left.

This is exactly what I thought when I read it I was like these mf strong armed him and were willing to attempt a smear campaign if he did not go along with it. We will never know what exactly happened.

That statement sounds exactly like a sniveling 5 year old. “Well he started it, it’s not my fault.”
agreed.

Like I said in that Definitive Joe Alleva thread a couple of days ago, Joe will always take the low road and sit in his self-absorbed corner and continue to show why he is no leader of men. His statement last night is just more of the same.

Please can him TODAY.

Have to give it to you Lester. No matter how wrong you are, you always keep on doubling down. Very persistent. Dumber than a bag of rocks, but persistent.

No, it’s fair for him to say that. Wade is lucky to still have this job.
don't confuse things here. Just because Wade may be lucky, in your opinion, to still have his job, it does not give license to Joe to continue to belittle his employees to make himself look better.

After all he's done, at both Duke and LSU, you can call him Kneejerk Joe... Or Low Road Joe... But don't call him fair.

The press release probably was not drafted by Alleva. The attorneys did at the direction of the board of supervisors. Anyway it was another. CYA move. Hopefully he is gone.

I get your point, but you can say the same thing about the HC making comments like he did which started this entire process.

BOTH sides acknowledged why this process unfolded like it did. Now let's move forward and see if CWW can talk some of the guys from this past year's team into returning, and get some new recruits signed on this week.

What was I wrong about?

I look forward to your answer. You can be the first person to actually back up that claim

Totally unnecessary shot by Alleva, trying to save face. You should regret suspending him in the first place.

No it was not but he is a POS, did anyone expect any less from the snake?

Reposting from the other thread:

Unfortunately what it does is project weakness, a lack of solidarity, and telegraphs to the NCAA that if they decide to take action against Wade, LSU admin will not back him. It is almost asking the NCAA to please come and investigate.

LSU admin trying to cover themselves rather than win. Reading it, I appreciate even more that our student athletes and coaches don't give up that easy.

media pressure over an article written by a nobody hack on yahoo sports and some tweets from a washed up senile announcer

Where was this opinion of Yahoo Sports when the very same people broke the story that Cam Newton had been paid by Auburn? I seem to remember every word they wrote in 2010 was accepted as Gospel.

Alleva is an outright embarrassment to LSU. Gotta make sure the media doesn't say anything bad about him.

I've said it before... I and many LSU fans are now all in on what we'll call The Auburn Approach.

First with sCam, then with Pearl.
