Ole Miss? They were never close and only got back in the game after the defense shut them down for a half and decided they were done trying for the night. And their defense obviously couldn't stop us at all that night.
UT is 4th for me. If we don't get that 3rd and 17, who knows what happens. I think we crush them if that game was played later on the year, but it is what it is.

Either LSU had a great season and beat several really good to great teams or all that is overblown because all those teams were really just overrated pieces of crap teams.

That clemson team wins the national title most years. The team they beat in the semi final wins the national title most years. Looking back on the season you had 3 great teams. Clemson and OSU were national title level programs in any given year. LSU had a magical season as one of the strongest teams in the history of college football.

Clemson is really damn good. However, we just happened to be one of the greatest teams ever.
We embarrassed every team on our schedule at times. I say good for us instead of shame on Clemson.

Their CB Terrell would have looked all world against anyone else playing WR not named Jamarr Chase, and He is going to play on Sundays in the NFL.

tOSU was overrated as frick. Honestly Clemson was too, they just lived off the rep they carried over from the prior season. Anyone could see that this Clemson team was not nearly the team the media would have had you think they were prior to the game. quote:

I will never understand why people want to put down our opponents. Why say our win was lesser than it is?
That was by all accounts a great Clemson team.

Both Clemson and OSU had stellar seasons. OSU had one of the best teams I've seen on both sides of the ball.

You guys need to chilllll I’m not saying Clemson wasn’t a great team. They were and extremely well coached.
They weren’t “special”. They played NO ONE and should have lost to OSU hell maybe UNC as well.
We whooped them like a red headed step child. After the first quarter onslaught they never had a chance.
LSU 2019 is the greatest team of all time. NO DOUBT about that. But for a team that was 29-0 I expected more.

I don't think Ohio State was overrated, they had Clemson beat in taking it to them early on, and they let them off the hook. "We knew who Clemson was, and we let them off the damn hook". Lol
I agree with that poster statement though, any other year either of those 2 teams wins the title, but they both were just second best to a superior team in L S U.

Why? Clemson beat up on nobodies before tOSU and lacked the elite defensive line play they had in '18 to beat Bama. That 2018 Clemson team would win the title most years, sure. Not the '19 team.

They were great, we were better this year. Next year I think Clemson wins it all and with that schedule I think they break a lot of records.
