The whole way there was nothing but horrible traffic with about 90% of the vehicles being from Georgia with Bulldog decals. I was able to stop in Baton Rouge and watch the game on T.V. but wasn't at the game or on campus. Judging from the amount of traffic, it seems like Georgia filled up half the damn stadium! Never in my life did I witness such a mass exodus of that proportion from away fans.

There won't be as many going forward as they won't want to drive all that way to be disappointed again.

The restaurant and hotel people vigorously disagree with you. Visiting fans are great for the BR economy.

I'm not sure why I'm getting downvotes over a simple observation?

Add to it the "Bumpitty Bump" of I-10, I-55 & I-12 in Louisiana.

Wanna know why I'm jealous of Bama? Their freakin roads.

Why in the hell would I make something like this up!? Geeze can't even post about a fricking observation on my way back home from working in Texas for 2 months! I'm from Baton Rouge, live in Montgomery, but was working in Corpus Christi..I stopped halfway in Baton Rouge and watched the game at my dad's house. Woke up this morning to traffic from Georgia fans the whole way up until the Atlanta exit near Montgomery. From what I have been hearing, our stadium was only 65% Tiger fans which is why I said that can't happen again because if true that's not the home advantage that I expect. Quit being jerks!

Alleva has made tailgating a shell of it's former self and local establishments are hurting.

A large traveling visitors greatly help the local economy.

I have no problem with a mass exodus of visiting fans leaving the stadium because we are stomping them. As for the UGA fans in the uppers, at least when they buy tickets they show up. Overall, it was a great crowd and LSU fans didn't leave early!

Look I will say it again... I don't care if we have visitors. Earlier I posted this same thing on my Facebook and people were telling me that Georgia had more fans in Tiger Stadium than they seen in a long time. It's just stupid that I get 30 downvotes for making and observation on traffic! Makes me not wanna talk on here anymore.
