ok YOU SILLY PEOPLE WHO THINK YOU CAN JUST PULL A GOOD COACH OUT OF YOUR BUTT ANY TIME YOU NEED TOO, WELL BAD NEWS ! THEY ARE FEW AND HARD TO FIND AND MOST WANT TO BE WELL PAID IF THEY ARE PERCEIVED TO BE GOOD ! Too fire a coach YOU HAVE TO HAVE ONE IN MIND AND WANTING THE JOB,( SEE LAST YEAR) RIGHT NOW IF THIS IS THE CASE THERE WILL BE A CHANGE If not jones is our coach for now !
Maybe we can find a good English teacher as well. We don't need a spectacular coach, just one significantly better than Jones. I may be able to pull one of those out of my butt.

Where do his loyalties lie? His employer that is in the midst of a almost crisis meltdown of a head coach or to the NCAA basketball committee (what is he really doing at the site he is at???)

The next 3wks should be a golden opportunity for Alleva to right the ship. There will be coaches at every regional and the Final 4. Use the time wisely , put out feelers, network, and come out with a list of candidates , then go to work.

He could be talking to coaches or their agents and seeing if he can lure somebody to LSU. The coach he would likely get is probably coaching in the tournament so he might be waiting until he has someone in hand already before making a decision on Johnny.

Central US has a better coach than LSU, so I do not buy the good coaches are hard to find argument.

We've had two clown hires when we could have hired Tony Bennett. I blame the hirer not the hired.

While we could have hired a much better coach than Jones, Tony Bennett was not coming to LSU.

Isn't Duke known for a strong Basketball Program? Evidently had nothing to do with Alleva as AD.
