quote:I get what you’re saying. However, it is not like he “started with nothing” since he brought with him talented players and kept 3 key players for LSU that would have been big contributors. Then brought in 4 talented freshman with 2 bigs that were 4*. LSU has issues inside rebounding and defending yet these freshman are not contributing like we would have expected this late in the season. That is an issue.
Give the guy a chance he started with nothing if you expect anything more out of this year, you’re delusional

Our 5 and 4 star recruits racking up 0 minutes. Nice McMahon nice. Keep playing these dudes who don’t matter to the future of our program while also losing.
You clearly don’t know anything about basketball and that’s okay, it’s not for everyone. Stop stargazing, they aren’t good. Ask anyone, ANYONE who goes to practice. They aren’t close to being ready.

I appreciate your clean language. Unfortunately, it can't hide your COMPLETE STUPIDITY if you think McMahon (if he even lasts that long), will COME CLOSE to the results Wade had in his 5 years at LSU.
Keep in mind now, McMahon needs to be on schedule to win the SEC NEXT YEAR, and go to 4 out of 5 NCAA tourneys in his 5 year tenure. And yes, Wade and LSU were EASILY in the tournament the year of the ebola panicdemic.
You know that ain't happening. We should have kept Wade and weathered the storm like Auburn, Kansas, and UNC have done in the past. It's highly unlikely LSU will be back on the trajectory Wade has us on anytime soon.

McMahon will possibly have even less next year depending on how he does in the portal. He is not recruiting well at all. Someone said players will come here for the image money and playing time. There are two other reasons players flock to certain schools. They want to be on a winning team and improve their skills so that they can advance to the NBA. Those last two are not available here.

Reminder: Wade went 18-15 his 1st season. We’re 12-9 right now and have a realistic shot at winning another 4-6 games with a much easier 2nd half of the schedule, so this difference isn’t that drastic.
Update since this post:
Lsu is now 12-14
They have won 0 games with the much easier 2nd half of the schedule
