.322 is not close to .300...it's well over.

You act like .322 is bad...it's very good for a catcher. He's clearly struggling big time at the plate hitting under .240 right now.

yeah he's in a slump right now, but it's not like he's ever been thought of as one of our big hitting threats is what i'm trying to say. he only had a couple of homeruns and low rbi number last season. calm down. to put it in perspective, we're batting .311 as a team and people say we're hitting like shite, but you say batting just 10 points higher is good? please explain

Yeah but Gibbs is a stud behind the dish which allows him to swing a weaker stick and stay in the line up.

He didn't hit HRs but .322 is a very good average.

Huh?

is it that hard to understand. people complain about us struggling at the plate. we have a .311 team batting average right now. you say a .322 average is very good. how is a 10 point difference in average the difference in a very good average and a bad one.

You have me confused for others. I never said we hit poorly. We do AT TIMES struggle to get hits AND runs (as evidenced by last week) but a .311 team average is good. A catcher hitting .322 is very good.

Point is clearly Gibbs is capable of hitting way higher than .239

Hitting .322 is better than .311!!!

It's a very easy concept.
