I for sure melted after the Miss State series. Not a “season is over” melt. But I really wanted the SEC title. Winning a national title is so hard and never a given. If this team caught a bad break in the postseason we had nothing to show for this great team it would have been such a disappointment.
Well, they did finish the job and won the national title so the rest will be forgotten. This team overcame some crushing injuries and still showed to be the best team in the country.
