or that he woke up in 2022 and is no longer a solid special teams coach?

Well in the 13th game of the season not one person on the field goal unit NOT ONE knew a blocked ball isn’t dead Again NOT ONE. Explain that one with all your reasoning and positivity.

He can coach backup kickers and backup placeholders. That should do it.

Movement will occur after the bowl, mainly bc contracts may have incentives linked to bowl, total wins, etc, and the national college football coaches convention is in early January and a lot of positions are filled during that time…

Do you realize that ST coach was not even a staff position until about 5 yrs ago when the NCAA granted a 10th coach…

Uhhh, special teams coaches have been a thing way longer than that. They may have assisted with other things (DL, TE, or LB for some of LSU’s ST coaches), but those other positions weren’t usually even in their job title (at LSU at least). ST coach was.

If anything, with the addition of the 10th coach, it feels as though safeties coaches are on the rise.

Stability is great but we could upgrade at least one spot.

You don’t care if they aren’t perfect? Not firing bad coaches are things we expected from Les. Kelly really needs to get Polian out or more him into a different role. This is 100% something we need to hold him accountable for and not give him a pass.

Kelly has done an amazing job his first year but that doesn’t excuse Polian being the worst special teams coach in the country

The word from ND is he wasn't that great over there either. I was concerned when he announced that we had been spoiled with great ST before he arrived. He flat out announced he was going to suck.

you sir are correct as well...

Kelly is NOT getting rid of his recruiting coordinator that is responsible for upgrading our entire roster the last two years.. I swear, so many fans are worse than an overly emotional woman... The coach doesnt fumble the ball.. the player does. all that will happen is they will bring on a support staff coach to help him out.. You dont get rid of a RC as good as him... friggen retarded..

He may get a promotion.

Then someone else takes over ST'S.

Everyone happy.

Anderson doesn’t block on FG/PAT. Anderson won’t help the players know a blocked FG is still a live ball. Anderson won’t keep LSU’s kickoffs from going out of bounds. Anderson won’t keep track of personnel and make sure we are lined up correctly on punts.

All that shite is still Polian
