When Johnny Jones became LSU head coach, I was as happy as have ever been when a new coach came in; not because of his color, but because he so obviously loved LSU and wanted very badly to make them a winner again. He is still one of my favorites and wish things had worked out for him and LSU. That said, Will Wade is now the coach and I think we all want him to succeed.

chin - you're forgetting the absolute biggest thing in all of this. If Wade refuses to meet, knowing that Bruce Pearl also refused to meet, and gets suspended, it can finally get the movement growing to have Alleva replaced.
Ironically, Will Wade, the only hire that Alleva made that wasn't Alleva's find, wins a SEC championship. Alleva's other hires fail to win SEC championships and get extensions, while Wade wins a championship and gets suspended. Now Will Wade has someone at AD that will help him continue to win championships and LSU has an AD that will absolutely make a homerun hire if we go another 3 years without winning the SEC in NCAAF.
