I have watched too many basketball games over the years, but have seldom seen a technical foul called in that situation.

It was a chickenshit call. The Nigerian from Georgia was staring people down, hanging on the rim longer than I have seen in decades without a call, delaying the game to call attention to himself, and on and on.

One of the things Wade kept talking about in the offseason was how we didn’t have any real edge to our team last year, but that this years team would have plenty by bringing in Javonte and Emmitt. Boy he wasn’t lying, these kids love to shite talk. Fills my heart with pride.

Agree the rabbit ears official made a complete BS call on Smart. That official Pat Scott I think is awful anyway. Having said that I am not a big fan of trash talk.

Larry Bird was the worst trash talker in the pros and could back his up...If Smart can do that then we have someone that can get in the opponent's heads, which is big in basketball......
