Big sharp money was in on South Carolina and LSU had the spread covered after it looked like the sharps would win all game.

Referee’s have primary conferences. Once their primary conference gives them their schedule they are free to take games from secondary conferences on open dates

Players were warned in the first half about the back and forth taunting and it stopped. It started back up and both coaches were warned about it late in the 2nd half during an LSU free throw. Referee told players and coaches any other words would result in a T.

I tend to agree that his coaching style probably wouldn't mesh well with all the primadonnas in NBA. If he's consistently successful at LSU for a while, who knows, maybe he gets the itch to test himself at the next level. Hopefully not though and he stays here long-term.

Oh stop. USCe did so much after that. Zero reason it should have been called in that situation. They had 30 opportunities prior to do so and didn’t. No one even really knew what happened so it obviously wasn’t egregious

The SEC definitely has SEC officials for SEC games... non conference games could be anyone. The SEC tries to schedule officials to avoid conflicts and allocate better groups to tougher games.

I was sitting near Lsu’s bench and couldn’t hear what our player said but heard he ref tell WW “ask your player what he said. It was clear as day. Talk to your player.”

Yeah pretty classic that old arse ref starring him down. Who does he think he is haha. Wade is 30 years younger than him and 40 times more successful. Wade runs his arse and Wade knows it. I wish Wade would have kept going at him and accepted the fine. Don’t allow that shite in the PMac these days. This isn’t the Trent Johnson or Johnny Jones era Zebras.

Yes it would. You don’t get two free throws and the ball after a tech anymore. Just two free throws and the possession to whoever it is supposed to.
The dumb thing the announcers were saying is they may call a hook and hold when you can’t call a foul after a review of the replay. Replay has only been around for like 20 years so I guess I shouldn’t expect them to know that already.
