We have a lot of problems but Waters was best/luckiest thing to ever happen to Wade.

We haven’t had a point guard since. Smart was amazing as a 2 playing next to Waters. He is OKAY as a PG but doesn’t come natural.

I fricking hate when people say coaches are lucky to land players.

Do you think Tremont Waters ever even considers LSU without Will Wade???

I don’t think he was lucky to land Waters. Obviously he worked very hard to land him and find him. My point was how much of an instant impact he had and success for two years. I think Waters made Wade look a lot better than he is.

Wasn't he signed to Georgetown out of high school and was able to get out of the LOI because of the head coach getting fired?

Smart is a college 2 being asked to play 1. No disrespect on Smart at all, but he doesnt have court vision. His biggest weakness. Still love the dude though and glad he is on our team. He will get it going again.

Tremont was a badass.

May have been the best LSU PG since Chris Jackson.

You think Zion, Cam Reddish and RJ Barrett all went to Duke for the fine education they received for 4 months before leaving?

I bet you think strippers like you too.

There's no doubt that is true. Though Gaines is getting a bit better, I still think Cook should be getting more minutes. LSU needs better defense, especially against 3-point shooting.

Forget about Tremont. Great but Cam will be more successful in the NBA. What happened to the two guys who were joining us second semester. There is no substitute for height. We don’t have rim protector. What about Gray can he play?

I know, as do you, that Will Wade is dirty; The fact that the coaches at Duke are just as bad doesn’t make Will Wade less dirty. It does make Wade at least more careless in that he got caught implying on a recorded phone call that he was dirty. If you think the rules are unfair and should be changed thats another issue, but until they are changed you should get punished if you break the rules (and that applies to everybody).

The “everybody’s doing it” excuse is old and played out. They tried this during the steroid era of baseball when guys started hitting 60+ homers every year. There were great ball players who played by the rules and were penalized bc baseball was slow to react. MLB was forced to either change their rules or enforce them. College basketball is now in the same position.

strippers are no different than everybody else. Everybody likes me. I’m a very likable person.

Waters is great example.

So is Skyler.

Another piece I think they are missing is an Emmitt Williams.

These 3 seemed to have a fire and competitive nature that some of this years players are missing.

I think Wade needs to start Gaines, Cook and LeBlanc and see if they can do a better job against the three point shooters. If nothing else, maybe it will shake up the starters to do a better job when they get in there. Cam has really deteriorated as a player. I wonder if he has a nagging injury that is hindering him? All he does on offense if he doesn't have the ball in his hand, is stand in one place beyond the arc and wait for a pass which doesn't come because either he is guarded or one of the others is going one on three.
He is another one of our supposedly great three point shooters who come in and go into a giant slump where they can't hit the side of a barn. Has anyone else notice how flat the trajectory of his three ball is these days?
