Early in the year this team was moving the ball very well and playing team basketball. It created a lot of easy looks and open shots for everyone on the floor. This team has completely gotten away from that, and it may be a little too late in the year to fix it because of the egos. It looks to me like Watford and Smart got caught up in a game of trying to match shots with Cam. Everybody trying to get theirs. I don’t really blame them either because Wade has allowed Cam to come in and throw up wild shots without any correction. Now it looks like we have a pissing match on the court among 3 guys who are all trying to throw up shots to impress the scouts. They have completely forgotten about team basketball, and Wade has allowed it to happen.

No, I don’t think Wade needs to be fired, but he has done a piss poor job of navigating this year’s roster. Now he has 3 guys trying to play hero ball while everyone else just stands there. Not sure what he can do to fix it this year.

WFe're missing a big dominant rim protector in the middle. probably would be a game changer

We are missing defense. Cook was playing defense early in the year. Tonight looked like he said nobody else is so why should I.

Watford has basically quit . With Dayes out you have 2 options. . The O is now understaffed . The D is what it is

We have a 6’11” 255 center that never gets a chance to play so no development. Same with cook the only true point guard. Don’t understand it.

It looks like a team that will piddle their way through the rest of the schedule on the bubble, at best, then make a decent run in the SECT to get into the field. How we do in the NCCAT will inevitably depend on matchups - if we match up well in our region, we could make a run...but we could also be 1 and done.

This team has Wade’s identity, the one that cries to the Referees and throws a fit like a little kid.

Season is going off the rails at the rate of Ben Simmons’ year

Yep.

When he gets the ball on offense he has no desire whatsoever to give it up. Even if there is a wide open shooter BEGGING for the ball.

On defense he couldn’t give any less of a frick. He’s routinely the last one down the court. He just stands and watched and has no fight whatsoever. All he’s doing is competing with Thomas for shots and the eyes of scouts.

Wade let this monster grown by giving a freshman free reign to do whatever the hell he wants...and has NEVER had any accountability on defense. Now the chickens are coming home to roost on him.

This guy is right.

The amount of bad shots these players take is ridiculous. They play like there is not a coach on the floor and they do what they want.

Yeah, if you just watch the way alabama plays compared to lsu its night and day. They move the ball around and play as a unit. Lsu is a bunch of individuals. That and a lack of anticipation on defense are the biggest current issues

Wade trusts his players way too much and it is biting him in the arse.

I understand what he is trying to do with them, but i dont this this specific team has the basketball iq of his previous teams to work that way. Got a feeling they will be better on both ends once watford is gone

I agree, I think that Watford has flashes of talent but he’s a high volume liability a lot of the time. It seems like he should be more effective than he is, but I think the team is generally worse for having him out there.

I think that Wade’s track record so far has been strong given the circumstances, but depending on how the rest of the season plays out, this season does have the feeling of that Simmons year, as someone mentioned.

LSU doesn’t have a team on the court. It’s simply 5 individuals who happen to be wearing the same uniform.

Why does it always look like it's 4 on 5 when they're defending? And ultimately, every single possession the ball gets passed around and somebody has an open look with nobody on him. That's every time. Not just sometimes. Not just when a great play is drafted up. Every single mf time.
