Educate me please. When I go online I need an “LSU Ticket Offer” to buy certain seats. How do I get this code?

Frozen pirouge sucks. The beauxjacks

The Arena sits at the foot of the Jimmie Davis Bridge. If you drive a couple miles over the bridge in Shreveport there are plenty of restaurants, BW's, Rotollo's, Walkon's, Longhorn Steakhouse, Logans Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Carrabba's, Hannah's Japanese Hibachi grill and a few other fast food options.

The arena is in a low crime area but there are no drinking establishments nearby.

It's all relative. Lots of restaurants with bars on Youree and The Cub isnt that far away.

Well this is a freezing cold take. BJ is legit. It’s a drinks and bar food joint, not Middendorf’s. Get over yourself

Online it looks like very few tickets have been sold. My wife and I are driving up to see the game. I hope we get a good walk-up crowd.

I’m pretty sure the Tech fans will come. School hasn’t let out yet and for much of them they hate LSU.

My experience with Tech fans = half of them are likely to invite you to a Sunday pot luck but the other half can dog cuss and cat call as well as anyone (just smaller numbers of them compared to an SEC school). And it’s this second half that tends to hate LSU.

The OP specifically asked "within walking distance". It's not relative unless you've got a few hours to spend walking.

Bossier/Shreveport, Baton Rouge/St. George, New Orleans/Metairie, it’s all the same thing. Bossier is basically Shreveport, St. George is basically Baton Rouge, and Metairie is basically NOLA

Logan's is horrible. Walk On's and Carraba's are good, the others are fair to mid. I would stay on the Bossier side and hit either Bodacious BBQ (fantastic chopped beef sammich and pork belly, also bread pudding) or Gumbo to Geaux (really good seafood plates, also serves beer). Both of these are very close to the arena.

Out of the bars that people mentioned, I highly recommend Flying Heart. They have a wide selection of beer and their own Amber is very good. If you're hungry, they make some great pizza.

That sucks. Tech’s my favorite in-state team behind LSU of course. They usually have a pretty good program. Sooo…BOOT UP!
