It's a terrible drawing of a tiger. First off, Toonces looks like he's panting, not pouncing. Second, I don't mind the claws and such, but at least have his ears pinned back like a tiger would do when attacking something.
Look at the helmet logo for example. Mike's ears are pinned back, as the logo was adapted directly from a photo of Mike growling. This fricker looks like a yellow teddy bear with down syndrome.

Yeah that sucks. I wish there was a contract because then we would know exactly when we could scrap the logo.

You know I really only see that logo on fan merchandise. The football team really only uses the "geaux text" and eye.

Here's the worst part of the whole Phoenix Design deal... LSU's is easily the worst logo they did. I like all the rest better than what we got.
I like the Geaux Font. It looks clean on the basketball uni's. That's the only thing we should keep.
Our primary logo should be the circle tiger head. Use that on ESPN whenever they talk about LSU and everyone will know who they are talking about.

I'm really starting to like "teeMike"'s sig pic. Not sure if he created it, but I like it alot and LSU should use it and it should also be used by the media when logos are shown on TV. The toonces version gets lost on TV somewhat when shown opposite to another team's logo.

It's funny, because they did Arkansas' too. Maybe they intentionally effed it up. I have to say ours looks a hell of a lot like Western Carolina. And that, my friends, is unfortunate.
