He's ridiculous off the edge. I anticipate him having numerous pro bowl years.

Pretty cool that it was his very first regular season play in the NFL.

He also batted down a couple of balls and drew a couple of holding penalties.

Haha yea he did. And not just him, but a lot of people thought Mingo would suck in the NFL, because of his "lack of production" at LSU. Well, hes playing a diff position than he was at LSU.3-4 OLB is way more of a natural spot for Mingo than 4-3 DE with hand in the ground was. And also only been playing football since his junior season of high school.

After seeing him play just 1 game, I will go ahead and say Mingo will be the best edge/pass rusher from his draft class.

He played 15-20 plays and had 2 tackles, 1 TFL, a sack, drew 2 holding penalties, and batted a pass down and he almost picked it. Thats very efficient for 15-20 snaps. And also made an impressive play on Ray Rice. They ran a screen pass opposite side of Mingo, there was a lot of space for Rice to work with but Mingo ran him down from behind in pursuit for a minimal gain.

Everything Ive read about Mingos debut was nothing but great things. Very disruptive and active, has a great motor, and his elite speed still shows in the NFL. Kids going to be great

Sometimes guys like Mingo are better in the NFL than in the NCAA. Specialized skills, he'll be a beast of a pass rusher.

Right. I remember Mingo being pretty raw out of high school but full of potential. He demonstrated a lot of that potential at LSU but I don't think he will reach that potential, barring injury, until age 27. The Browns have a good one.

He will garner constant double teaming. The Browns DC will have to move him around to avoid that double team.
