The only thing I don't get is why did the police sick around the LSU bar scene when there was no one at the place of the call.
1:32 am Off. Stone arrives at Shady's,- no one there
Left Shady's and went to Reggie's to see if he could find the suspect(during closing hour)
2:40 am Goes back to Shady's to see if the complaintent shows up???
This is a college bar. Unless, they had some information that some of the possible attacters were LSU player during the first visit, then the police were really overworking this case of 'a fight in progress'.
It evidently wasn't a fight in progress, and no one was hanging around by the time Off. Stone got there. Even with the time he took to get the bare facts to go to Reggie's, nobody from 'the fight' showed up.
So was it normal procedure to pursue the incident if no one is there?
All good questions that I've been asking for days. Seems strange that if you were the victim of a crime you'd leave the scene knowing the police were minutes away. and even stranger that you'd come back to the scene over an hour later for what...in the hopes that the cops who were in route when you left just happened to still be there?
Oh...I've got a theory for that one...

Well?
That's what some posters want.
Including his lawyer.
I mean, innocent until proven guilty right?

i've been in many bar fights. never called the cops....because its a frickin' bar fight....and i'm not a pussy

There was simply no reason whatsoever for the BRPD to proceed the way it did.
Are you saying he should have been arrested the night of the incident after witnesses stated that he was kicking someone in the head? If so, I agree.
I got into an altercation with a guy right after high school. Months later he's at the same bar as me. I left but one of my friends stayed and talked shite to him. The dude called the cops and filed a complaint. He lied to the cops and said it was me. Maybe 10 hours after I left the bar the cops were at my house with a summons to court for simple assault. You're fooling yourself if you don't think the cops treated him different because of who he is.

Why did you leave me off of your list this time?

If someone can disprove it, please do so without conjecture.

I don't get "assault and battered" because I'm not a douchebag.
Okay so would you agree you don't place yourself in situations to get assualted and battered? If so then would you also agree that people who do the assaulting and battering are douchebags? Therefore, those who place themselves in a position to assault and batter people are also douchebags? Therefore everyone involved that night was a douchebag?

Umm, I didn't kidnap her. I just wouldn't let her leave.
The guy was acting like a jerk X-B/F, but she was able to move around him after a try or two.
What happened off camera I don't know, but I just don't see anything that rises to the abuse level. imo

I most certainly have "assault and battered" douchebags. I dropped a drunk a-hole in the Varsity about 5 years ago for shoving a girl. Sue me.

Ironic, considering your only concern here has been who's under center.

Thanks for proving my point! Guess what? That's what most anyone would do if they'd thought they'd been the victim of a crime! guess how many victims were at the scene where the responding officer showed up minutes after being called? Z-E-R-O.

I would like to know how they would have responded if they were the ones on the ground and broke 3 vertebrae from a swift kick to the head.
If medically able, I'd have stuck around and pressed charges right then and there if I felt I was a victim and not a participant.

Call it abuse or call it stalking. Hell, we can call it barnfandangling. The guy was out of line and acting like an a-hole.

Damn brah I'm shaking in my boots again over here at how much of a hardass you are. I am afraid to be within 200 miles of BR for fear of you whooping my arse because I deserve it for some reason unknown to me.

Now it makes sense. Assault is ok as long as the victim is a woman. The two of you are amazing.

By simple definition you would have been a participant.

Dude if you get caught peeing in the bushes u will get a hafty fine. One coo seeing you is indecent exposure. Ur are a sex offender. Women can get it too.
Ok, I'll illustrate my point this way. I do not pee in bushes. I do speed. I'm still a damn sight safer driver than most idiots on the road. I don't consider myself doing anything wrong, but I don't break other laws. So saying "we all break the law" is not true. We may break some minor laws if we feel no one is hurt by it, but most of us do not break laws that affect others or are morally wrong. It is unimportant. It was just a side note.

i've been in and witnessed many bar fights and have many friends on the police force. Neither i nor they have ever seen anything as over the top and downright fubar as this "investigation".
