Then the players who actually saw it could just step forward and tell the cops: "Look, the guy got kicked, but we don't know WHO the dude was that kicked the guy. He wasn't with us, he just kind of blended into the melee."
As far as I know, nobody's stepped forward to say anything like that. And the only reason for that I can come up with is that it didn't go down that way.
Honestly, G...I'm not sure we know that for sure. As far as I can tell, the players are on total lockdown...not a CHANCE that they'd tell anyone but police anything like that. And if they had told police that...would we even know? I'd assume that the four players brought it for questioning likely stated they did not kick anyone, but we've yet to hear what they actually told police, right?

know. This is all just speculation on all our part.
Don't worry...some asshat will quote us soon enough!

In that same vain, is it not odd that during both stops at Shady's that night, the officer responding to the call did not mention talking to any employee of the bar? clearly had he done that he'd have mentioned it in the report. Keep in mind, I don;t find it odd that employees didn't come piling out of the joint to offer up stories...I find it odd that the officer clearly did not enter the bar, ask for a manager on duty and ask them if they knew anything about what had apparently just taken place. He had be given a preliminary report of potentially a hoard of LSU football players in a fight in their lot...seems like the staff could have been helpful in his initial investigation, no? If any of that took place, the officer failed to note it...
No argument with any of this. It would appear the responding officer really screwed the pooch on this one. I would think the bar manager, bartenders or door guys/bouncers would've been the FIRST people he took statements from. Clearly, they weren't.
However, if nobody from the bar is willing to step forward even now and tell the cops what happened, then I have to think anything they tell the media is somewhat suspect. You have to admit they do have a bit of a vested interest in siding w/ the players here.

Great work. JJ may be innocent after all.

I guess BRPD looked at this video today, another thread states they searched Josh John's house today and took 5 pair of shoes. Guess Jefferson's didn't match.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury please watch Exhibit C.
As I watch "Exhibit C" from :02 to :06, the "enhanced" version pans right and then back to the left. As it pans back to the left, there is a guy with a white shirt on who also kicks the person on the ground. Can't tell who it is, obviously. But he does have on a white shirt.

I have a buddy over right now, and we're talking about this. He's a State grad and he says he's become a closet LSU fan since moving here. He said he likes our games because they're so weird and crazy, almost magical. If I had one word to describe LSU football, I would say....
Voodoo.
JJ looks innocent, at least from the kicking aspect. This situation is really freaking me out, but I take comfort in knowing we have that nasty defense.
If that kid is innocent, I want him on the field. If he has Miles' approval as the best option at that position, I trust him. Its just going to get awkward, if JL goes in and throws for 4 tds and 359 yrds, only to have JJ cleared next week.
I'm just glad I'm a fan of LSU, and I can't hardly contain myself right now, I'm so ready for football.

what you guys are missing is that there is supposively 2 seperate incidents.
this one, and then apparently another when the guys were "pulled out of their vehicle and got their asses beat"
that second incident they are saying that that's what might have caused the broken bones, someone was bodyslammed into a tailgate.
there has been no video of the alleged second incident.
if this is all the hard evidence IMO JJ walks.

That's a statement from his attorney, Bienvenu, on behalf of his client. So, yes -- Lowery denied being in the bar. He "went to pick up a friend". That is a lie.

"Jordan said he went over there for about 30 minutes in his jeans and slippers," John Jefferson said.
No mention of sunglasses.

"He said he saw an altercation about to happen and told the guys with him 'Let's roll.'
Wonder why ppl in the video keep yelling "jeff" and
"jordan" and "5 0" "5 0" if JJ is the one trying to get everyone to leave?

Exactly...the officer spoke with "several people" outside the bar, and then paraphrased an unnamed witness as suggesting the parties may have taken it down the road to Reggies. with that...poof, the office headed off to Reggies. Seems incredible that he wouldn't have gone inside to ask staff what went down.

Have we seen definitive statements from anyone suggesting Shady's employees have refused to give statements to police? If they are unwilling to give their story to the BRPD, then yes...I would consider their stories more than suspect.

They absolutely could.

Maybe JJ just had no clothes on and thats why it looked like the kicker had on black clothes

worst possible scenario, IMO. we dont need this team divided.

So they're credibility is questionable?
Wouldn't the cops want their testimony now to clear this up, or is it "They have their men? No other witnesses are needed"?

JJ is supposedly linked to AL and that is all.

I picture Les Miles dressed as Jack Nicholson yelling that at the DA.
It's all clear what happened now.
Les got together w/ Chavis and Stud and decided that their purpose was to train young Andrew. Yes, yes...he was certain he'd read that somewhere.
After that meeting, Stud ordered the two JJs to give the douchy Marine a Code Red.

I can't see that...sorry. The guy who kicks the guy on the ground in what looks to be his ribs on his right side while wearing dark clothes with his left foot is pretty clear...but anything else? Nah... BHP even posted still frames of that guy...he's right around there but there's no way to determine what he's doing.

Apparently, some ones DNA did.Don't violate curfew, LSU players not at Shady's Bar but in their rooms observing curfew. If players in their rooms, can't be phyically at Shady's involved in fight.End of story. Now must suffer consequences of their own bad choices.
Sure let's kick a guy off the team press charges and ruin his life falsely all for curfew
