There have been a couple of 'let's be honest' responses which express an opinion. Your 'honesty' does not represent truth (as much as a Democrat might want that to be the case).
Am I surprised that drunk college kids yell STTDB? No, I'm not. Will it stop me from going to the games? No, it won't. Do I cringe when I hear it said? Yes, I do. When I say for you to go frick yourself I'm representing myself (and my family by extension). When a body of fans does it, they're representing LSU and the state. I hold myself to a lower standard because it reflects on mostly myself -- not a whole fricking university and state.
At the last LSU basketball game the students found a way to yell STTDB. They weren't drunk. They were assholes. So, frick all you dickheads who continue to yell it and suck my own personal dick.

It's possible that someone completely comfortable with dropping f-bombs on a routine basis will cringe at STTDB. We're not prudes -- it is demeaning to a university and state that I love. I grew up in Baton Rouge and have two diplomas from LSU. If you (as in anyone) didn't grow up in Baton Rouge or if you didn't graduate from LSU then you should STFU. If you did and still don't understand then get off my lawn.

Agree, but like you said earlier it's mostly students chanting it who will eventually be LSU grads so I don't know who you're so mad at.
